What is a GST invoice?
A GST invoice is a legal tax document issued under Section 31 of the CGST Act for every taxable supply of goods or services, recording the supplier and buyer's GSTIN, the HSN or SAC code, the taxable value, and the tax amount charged, and it's what allows a registered buyer to claim input tax credit on that purchase. Without a valid GST invoice, that input tax credit simply cannot be claimed, regardless of whether payment was made. Billoxy's GST Invoicing Tool generates fully compliant GST invoices automatically, so every bill you issue is valid for your customer's input tax credit claim.
