Pay from Party, Cash & Bank
You can start the same Create Payment flow from Party Transaction Details, Cash Account history, or Bank Account history — useful when you are already on the ledger for that supplier or account.
Three history entry points
- Party → Party - Transaction Details → New Transaction → Payment (or Add Payment/Collection)
- Cash → Cash Account - Transaction Details → New Transaction → Payment (or card menu Payment)
- Bank → Bank Account - Transaction Details → New Transaction → Payment
- Or stay on Purchases → Payment Out → New Payment with Cash/Bank Account choice

Frequently asked
Will Party Payment show on Payment Out?+
Supplier payments that follow the Create Payment model appear in the relevant Cash/Bank ledger and against linked invoices. Use Payment Out list as the purchase-side register when you work from Purchases.
Collection vs Payment on Party history?+
Payment = money you pay (typical for suppliers / Payment Out). Collection = money you receive (typical for customers / Payment In). See Party Transaction Details.
