Open Billoxy AI Chat at `/ai-chat` (Try AI Chatbot / header AI Chat). Ask in plain language or tap quick intents — Create Invoice, Business Report, Marketing Report, Billoxy Support, and General Help. Complements Dashboard AI Insights; plan permissions and request limits apply.

Chat screen tour

The `/ai-chat` layout mirrors a modern assistant: sidebar for navigation and history, header for connection and account, welcome + intents in the center, and a composer with optional suggestion chips at the bottom.

Main areas

  • Sidebar — Billoxy logo, menu (AI Agent, resources, company, pricing), New Chat, Panel, Learn, and chat history filters
  • Header — sidebar toggle (mobile), connection status, home / back, theme toggle, account menu
  • Welcome — Ask Billoxy with a short prompt to try a quick report
  • Intent cards — Create Invoice, Business Report, Marketing Report, Billoxy Support, General Help (shown when your plan allows them)
  • Composer — type a message, optional image attach, Enter to send (Shift+Enter for new line)
  • Suggestion chips — appear after you open a parent intent that has sub-options

On mobile the sidebar slides over the chat; on desktop you can minimize it to icon-only.

First message in under a minute

  1. 1Open `/ai-chat` and wait until the header shows connected
  2. 2Either tap an intent card or type your own question
  3. 3If you opened Business Report or Marketing, pick a chip or sub-option
  4. 4Read the reply; continue the thread or start New Chat for a fresh topic
Tip

Use Panel in the sidebar to open the Billoxy app dashboard in a new tab while keeping chat open. Theme tips: Light & dark theme.

Intents follow your AI permissions. You can still type freely if basic chat is allowed. See Plans & permissions.

Start New Chat when you change topic. The sidebar HISTORY section lists sessions filtered by Today, Yesterday, and Previous so you can reopen or delete local chat sessions.

AI Chat remembers your light or dark preference. Use the sun / moon control in the header (and matching controls on the page) so long sessions stay easy on the eyes.
