DesktopQuotation & Proforma
Menu Sales → Proforma Invoices (`/invoice/proforma-invoice`). Create quotations/proformas for customers, approve drafts, print/share, and Generate Sales Invoice when the deal is ready. Often follows a Sales Order and sits before the final Sales Invoice.
Customer Parties & Sales Price
Quotation and Proforma use the same customer and pricing rules as Sales Order: Customer and Customer+Supplier parties load, while line rates come from sales price by unit and conversion.
Party selection
- Picker loads Customer parties
- Picker also loads Customer + Supplier dual-role parties
- Supplier-only parties do not load in quotation/proforma sales documents
- Billing details fill from the selected customer: GSTIN, address, phone, email, state, and city

Sales pricing
- Select products or services from Item
- UNIT PRICE loads as sales price for the chosen unit and conversion rate
- Changing unit recalculates from the item’s sales-side pricing, not purchase price
- Clean item sales rates make quotations, proformas, orders, and invoices all match
