DesktopQuotation & Proforma
Menu Sales → Proforma Invoices (`/invoice/proforma-invoice`). Create quotations/proformas for customers, approve drafts, print/share, and Generate Sales Invoice when the deal is ready. Often follows a Sales Order and sits before the final Sales Invoice.
Reminder Notifications
Quotation and Proforma reminders are based on due date timing: 3 days before, on due day, and 1 day after — through WhatsApp, SMS, and Email configured in Settings.
Reminder timeline
3 Days Before
Warn the customer or team before the due date gets close.
On Due Day
Send a reminder exactly on the due date.
1 Day After
Follow up when the due date has already passed.
Notification channels
Send reminder notifications through WhatsApp.
SMS
Send reminder notifications as SMS.
Send reminder notifications by Email.
How users think about it
- This is a timing schedule around the due date, not a multi-platform setting
- Configure channels and schedules in Settings → Reminder and WhatsApp templates under Settings → WhatsApp (same pattern as Sales Order)
- The same document can use one or more channels: WhatsApp, SMS, and Email
- Use reminders for customer follow-up before converting to Sales Invoice

Preview, Templates & Share
Preview is the main working screen for quotation and proforma: choose templates, download or print PDF, share by WhatsApp or Email, open relative Sales Order, and convert to Sales Invoice.

Once the customer accepts the quotation or proforma, users can convert it to Sales Invoice so the commercial proposal becomes the final bill with carried-over customer, items, prices, tax, and totals.
