Menu Inventory → Stocks (`/definitions/stocks`). Record Stock In and Stock Out with product, qty, unit, date, and description. You can also adjust stock from Items via Bulk Stock Adjustment.
Stock In Types
Stock In increases warehouse quantity. Choose a Transaction Type such as Opening Stock, Add Stock, or Input Slip so every inbound movement is classified correctly.
What Stock In means
- Adjustment type: Stock In (process type In)
- Route: New Stock Adjustment → Stock In → Create Stock Transaction
- Transaction Type dropdown loads inbound receipt types from the system (names from your tenant’s stock receipt master)
- List filters commonly include Add Stock, Input Slip, and Opening Stock
- Opening Stock can lock Transaction Date to the company period start when that receipt type is selected

Inbound types explained
Opening Stock
Initial / period opening quantity when you start books or open a new financial period.
Add Stock
General increase — receipts, found stock, or corrections upward (also used in Item Bulk Stock Adjustment as Add Stock).
Input Slip
Inbound slip for materials/products entering inventory under an input classification.
Create a Stock In
- 1Open Stocks → New Stock Adjustment → Stock In
- 2Set Transaction Date and choose Transaction Type (Opening Stock / Add Stock / Input Slip / other inbound types shown)
- 3Add lines — select Item Name from your catalogue (Item), quantity, unit, unit price
- 4Optional Category, Description; review Grand Total on Stock In
- 5Save — toast Stock Added Successfully
Need to open many SKUs at once? Use Item → Bulk Stock Adjustment → Add Stock, then audit here or on each item’s Transaction History (Opening Slip filter).
Frequently asked
Why don’t I see every type name in the dropdown?+
Transaction Type options come from master/stockreceipttype filtered for Stock In. Your tenant may enable a subset — Opening Stock, Add Stock, and Input Slip are the common inbound filters on the list.
