Menu Inventory → Items (`/definitions/items`). Define products and services with prices, units, HSN/SAC, GST, stock types, barcodes, Excel import, Items Library, Bulk Stock Adjustment, and Generate Sales Invoice from cards. Open item transaction history for movements.

Item Transaction History

Transaction History is the movement ledger for one item — Opening Slip, Stock In/Out, sales and purchase documents, with filters and New Stock In / Stock Out shortcuts.

How to open it

  1. 1On Items list, ⋮ → Transaction History
  2. 2Toolbar New → Stock In or Stock Out for quick adjustments
  3. 3Filter by search, cancel status, and Transaction Type (multi-select)

Columns & transaction types

  • Columns: Date, Transaction Type, Document Number, Is Cancelled (Cancelled/Active), Quantity, Unit, Total Amount
  • Types include Opening Slip, Scrap, Usage, Input, Cycle Count, Sales/Purchase Order/Invoice, and more
  • Services can include Service Expense in the type filter
  • Row Edit opens the related stock transaction for correction when allowed

Filter Transaction Type to Opening Slip to verify opening balances after setup or bulk adjust.

Post quick increases or decreases from New without leaving the item ledger.

Use Is Cancelled to separate active movements from voided ones.

Tip

After Bulk Stock Adjustment, open Transaction History on a sample SKU and filter Opening Slip / stock types to confirm quantities and dates posted correctly.

Frequently asked

Is this the same as party Transaction Details?+

No. Party history is the contact ledger (payments/collections). Item Transaction History is the stock/document movement ledger for one product or service.

Can I edit every row?+

Edit is available for supported stock transactions. Some document-driven lines are managed from their source invoice or order instead.
