Fill your catalogue fast — upload Excel and map Billoxy fields, or pick curated products from Global Library and Add to inventory.

Ways to define many items

  • Excel Import / empty-state Upload Excel — same wizard pattern as parties (Configure → Map Fields → Preview)
  • Add From Library / Items Library — opens Global Library
  • Dashboard onboarding: Import Items — easily manage and import your product inventory
  • Row Copy — duplicate an existing item into a new master
  • Invoice line quick-add — type a new name and Billoxy can create Product/Service on the fly

Excel Import flow

  1. 1Download the Billoxy template or upload your existing sheet
  2. 2Configure columns, then Map Fields — Billoxy Billing Field ↔ your spreadsheet headers
  3. 3Preview ready vs skipped rows; Download skipped rows if needed
  4. 4Import — review results under Reports → Data Transfer

Global Library flow

  1. 1Open Add From Library → page Global Library
  2. 2Filter by Select Industry, Select Brand, Select Category
  3. 3Browse List of Products, select items, click Add to inventory
  4. 4Success: Item Added Successfully from the library — Go To Item Summary or Continue Adding Product
Tip

After a large Excel import, select the new products and run Bulk Stock Adjustment to set opening quantities without editing each item’s Stock Details modal.

Do mapped Excel fields include HSN and tax?+

Map whatever columns appear under Billoxy Billing Field after upload — typically identity, prices, units, HSN/SAC, and tax-related columns when present in the template.

Library vs Excel?+

Library is best for standard catalogue picks; Excel is best when you already have a full spreadsheet from another billing tool.
